Navitas is committed to helping students achieve their career goals by offering awards to outstanding students.

Navitas academic merit awards are awarded each term by each Navitas UK pathway college. Two students with the highest GPA in four or more subjects or courses will each receive an award.

A panel from each Navitas member institution will announce the recipients of the Navitas academic merit award upon the completion of each term and the release of the results. The recipients will be notified by mail and the successful students posted on the college website by consent.

Value

The merit award is in the form of vouchers to a value of £500.

Students that are progressing from ARU College to their ARU course can take advantage of our special discount.

Eligibility

For ARU College student to be eligible for ARU International Progression Scholarship you must be:

• a current international student with ARU College.

• successfully completed pathway programmes.

• studying full-time.

• starting ARU Year 2 or Year 3 of an undergraduate course, or joining the masters postgraduate degree.

The discount is £500 and is deducted from your second semester fees, or credited to your account which you can request to be transferred towards your University of Hertfordshire fees

Eligibility Criteria:

• The Early Bird Discount is available to students who have received an offer of admission to Hertfordshire International College (HIC).

• To be eligible for the Early Bird Discount, all conditions stated in the offer letter must be met before the published early bird discount deadline.

• The Early Bird Discount is non-transferable and can only be used by the student to whom it was originally awarded.

• This discount is available against the published fee, if the deposit, alongside the acceptance form is returned before the published early bird discount deadline

Restrictions and Exemptions:

• This Early Bird Discount is only applicable for the intake and pathway specified in your offer letter.

• This discount cannot be combined with any other scholarships, discounts, or promotional offers provided by Hertfordshire International College.

General Terms:

• The Early Bird Discount is subject to the availability of funds and may be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Hertfordshire International College reserves the right to modify or terminate the Early Bird Discount at any time, without prior notice.

• The Early Bird Discount is non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefits.

• The Early Bird Discount recipient must maintain satisfactory academic progress and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by Hertfordshire International College throughout their course of study.

• Hertfordshire International College may request additional documentation or information from the Early Bird Discount recipient for verification purposes.

• The decision of Hertfordshire International College regarding the awarding and continuation of the Early Bird Discount is final and binding.

• Hertfordshire International College reserves the right to revoke the Early Bird Discount if the recipient is found to have provided false information or is in violation of any HIC policies.

• By accepting the Early Bird Discount, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions stated

What is it?

Navitas offers financial support in the form of family bursaries. A bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study with a Navitas member institution.

The first family member can be studying with a Navitas member institution at the same time as other family members, or they may have previously studied with any Navitas member institution. The bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who studies with a Navitas member institution. For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter or stepchild.

The bursary is equivalent to 10% of tuition fee for the first attempt at units or courses in the programme of study (ie a certificate, diploma, University Transfer Programme (UTP), University Pathway Programme, bachelor’s degree, Pre-Master’s programme, postgraduate qualifying programme or Master’s degree)* with a Navitas member institution (excluding the Mixed English option).† This amount is credited to the eligible student’s tuition fee account each academic term, with the amount being relevant to the number of units undertaken in that term. The bursary applies to the first programme of study only undertaken at a Navitas member institution and does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken.

A completed application must be submitted to the Navitas institution where the second family member is studying, together with supporting documents such as a birth certificate or family card.‡ Application forms can be obtained from the Navitas institution where the student has enrolled.

Certificate programmes may also be known or registered a Foundation Studies or University Transfer Programme Stage I. Diploma programmes may also be known or registered as Undergraduate Pathway, University Transfer Programme Stage II or University Pathway Programme.

The Navitas bursary is not applicable to any English language programme or any component of an English language programme offered by a Navitas member institution.

The supporting documentation that is required will depend on the country where the student is enrolled.

Value

The bursary is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for up to 8 units of study within one programme only with a Navitas member institution. The bursary does not apply to additional units or repeat units that may also be undertaken and excludes mixed English options.

• The first family member can be studying at a Navitas institution at the same time as the other family members or may have studied at any Navitas institution previously.

• The family bursary is granted to the second and subsequent family members who study at a Navitas institution.

• Not have previously received a Navitas scholarship or bursary, or had a scholarship or bursary from Navitas withdrawn.

• Successful recipients will not receive any money from the Navitas member institution. The value of the bursary will be recorded on the student’s account each semester of study.

At ICP, we value and celebrate student success. For September 2025 and January 2025 entry, eligible applicants can claim a £1,000 discount on the undergraduate tuition fees (granted upon approval of the application, limited discounts available).

Eligibility

• To be eligible for the discount you must be a new undergraduate student holding an offer for September 2025 or January 2025.

• You must be a self-funded student on a full-time, campus-based course with annual fees of £15,600 and above for September 2025 entry or January 2025.

• You must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.

• The award is not available for students who have already begun their studies at ICP or University of Portsmouth.

• The award is not available to students who have already confirmed their place for September.

This scholarship is for students who successfully complete their KUIC programme and progress onto their degree at Keele University.

Undergraduate

Foundation

• Students who successfully complete the KUIC Foundation will qualify for: £5,000.

International Year One

Students who successfully complete the KUIC International Year One and progress to Year Two of their undergraduate degree at Keele University will qualify for:

• £1,000 (for final scores of 60% – 69%).

• £2,000 (for final scores of 70% and above).

Postgraduate

Pre-Master’s

Celebrate our 75th anniversary with our enhanced scholarship for enrolled international students who’ve excelled in the KUIC Pre-Master’s programme.

Students who have achieved the following average scores will automatically be awarded the scholarship as a tuition fee discount:

• 70% and above – £5,000.

• 60% – 69% – £4,000.

• 50% – 59% – £3,000.

Duration

• This scholarship is a fee discount. ARU will deduct it from the tuition fees of master programme.

To be eligible for our MBA Scholarship you must be:

• Successfully completed Pre-Masters programme with ARU College.

• studying our Master of Business Administration.

• starting your master course in January 2025.

• For Diploma students, the bursary is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fees for the first attempt at units in the program of study† (excluding mixed English option).

• For Certificate students, the bursary is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for the first attempt at units in the program of study (excluding mixed English options).

• Students must pay the full amount for half their course as shown on their Letter of Offer in order to confirm their place at the Navitas Institution to which they have applied. If the student remains enrolled at the institution, at the end of the week 4 of their first semester, 10% of their tuition fee paid will be credited to the student. The balance of the bursary is credited to the eligible students’ tuition account in the second and subsequent semesters. (The amount credited will be calculated on the actual number of units studied).

• The maximum value of the family bursary is 10% of the tuition fees for the first attempt of units in the program of study regardless of the number of family members who have studied with Navitas institutions.

• A completed application must be submitted to the Navitas institution together with supporting documents such as a birth certificate or family card.

• The General Manager or the Director Finance Administration will approve the award of a family bursary and authorise the accountant to process the relevant adjustments.

Definitions

For the purpose of this bursary, a family member is defined as a brother, sister, stepsister, stepbrother, mother, father, son, daughter, stepchild, husband or wife.

Conditions

• Some subject exclusions may apply.

• The Navitas bursary is not applicable to English language program or any component of any English language program offered by Navitas member institutions.

• Diploma programs may also be known or registered as Undergraduate pathway, University Transfer Program Stage II or University Pathways Program (UPP), First Year Degree

  (Stage 2). Certificate programs may also be known or registered a Foundation Studies, University Transfer Program Stage I or University Foundation (Stage 1).

For the upcoming 2025 intakes, a new Foundation Scholarship designed to support international students beginning their academic journey with UA92!

To secure your £1000 tuition fee discount you must be holding an offer for January, February or April 2025 on the UA92 Global International Foundation Year. Once you have satisfied all your conditions, and paid your deposit your discount letter will be awarded.*

*Limited amount available, first come first served – students will be notified upon payment of deposit. Discount will be applied to second block tuition fee invoice.

This scholarship is made up of a £1,000 fee discount scholarship at pre-masters level, followed by a £4,000 fee discount scholarship at Master’s level.

Eligibility

• Student must have successfully completed the ARU College pre-masters programme to be eligible for the £4000 scholarship at masters stage.

• Applicants sponsored by an organisation such as an employer, charitable body, or government department, or those receiving federal tuition fee loans, may not be eligible. This will depend on the terms and conditions of their respective funding body.

• Candidates will be required to meet all conditions of registration before the discount is awarded.

Conditions

• Not available for Pre-sessional English.

• Only available for pre-masters programmes commencing in January 2025 on ARU Peterborough campus. Applicants who fail to register cannot transfer the discount to subsequent intakes.

• The £4000 Progression Scholarship will be administered as a £4000 deduction from tuition fees once applicants register at the University.

• For students who withdraw (both student and university initiated), all discounts will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis in line with the fee-related liability, and all discounts or scholarships will be subject to the terms and conditions of the award.

• This discount/scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship/discount offered by ARU College or ARU.

• The partial scholarship is available to students who have received an offer of admission to Hertfordshire International College (HIC) for their respective intake

• This scholarship is discretionary, and will be awarded to select students at the consideration of the Recruitment Team

• To be eligible for the partial scholarship, all conditions stated in the offer letter must be met before enrolment.

• The scholarship is non-transferable and can only be used by the student to whom it was originally awarded.

• This scholarship is only applicable for the Specified intake for the pathway specified in your offer letter.

• This discount cannot be combined with any other scholarships, discounts, or promotional offers provided by Hertfordshire International College.

For the upcoming intakes, UA92 Global is delighted to announce ‘The Trafford Scholarship’ – a celebration of the area of Manchester in which UA92 is located. A maximum of two 50% scholarships (50% off first year of study only) will be awarded.

Eligibility

• To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must hold an offer for Foundation or Integrated Year One to study at UA92.

• You must be a self-funded student applying for a full-time course.

• Only applicants who have been assessed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes can access this award.

• Only one application/award per person.

• 50% off full published fee for the first year of study for Foundation level. Cannot be used in conjunction with another discount.

For September 2025 and January 2025 entry, eligible students will be able to receive the Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship. This scholarship will take the form of a £2,500 fee reduction that will apply to your first year of study.

Terms and Conditions

If you are from one of the countries below, you will be eligible for this award:

• If you're studying an undergraduate course, you must be a self-funded student on a full-time, on campus, course with annual fees of £16,200 or above for September 2024 and January 2025 entry.

• If you're studying on a postgraduate research or postgraduate taught course, you must be a self-funded student on a full-time, on campus, course with annual fees of £16,200 or above for September 2024 or January 2025 entry.

• The scholarship is not available for students who have previously studied other courses at the University of Portsmouth, who will instead be allocated the alumni discount.

• The scholarship is available for ICP (International College Portsmouth) students progressing to the University

• The scholarship will take the form of a £2,500 fee reduction, effective at the time of registration and will only apply to your first year of study.

• The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship, discount or fee offer.

• The discounted fee will be stated on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS). This is the final document you receive when you have an unconditional offer to study at the University of Portsmouth and have paid your deposit.

• Only applicants who have been assessed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes can access this scholarship. Eligibility is determined by nationality.
